das Jahr neigt sich dem Ende und die Medien erfreuen uns wieder einmal mit ihren großartigen Jahresrückblicken. Da wollen wir natürlich in nichts nachstehen und schließen uns einfach an. Aber wir halten uns wirklich kurz, auch wenn wir in den letzten Monaten im Auftrag der Rauminszenierungen Vieles erfolgreich durchführen konnten: Wir haben unseren ersten Kongress (Raumwelten 2012) organisiert, unser erstes Buch veröffentlicht (Messedesign Jahrbuch 2012/2013), ein großartiges Abendevent mit einer sehenswerten Ausstellung auf die Beine gestellt (Stadtgeflüster 2012) und beim Internationalen Szenografie Meeting in Stuttgart das Jahr mit einer kleinen PLOT-Geburtstagsfeier (Wir sind jetzt tatsächlich schon vier!) ausklingen lassen. Außerdem haben wir auf unserem PLOT-Blog unzählige Projekte aus den Bereichen Szenografie und Kommunikation im Raum veröffentlicht, besuchenswerte Ausstellungen, Messen und Events vorgestellt und mit unseren Jobangeboten hoffentlich viele Jobsuchende glücklich gemacht. Nicht zuletzt haben wir auf FACEBOOK mittlerweile über 2.240 Fans gewonnen! Das alles hätten wir ohne Sie nicht erreichen können und deswegen sagen wir: DANKE FÜR IHRE TREUE UND IHR INTERESSE. Wir haben uns 2012 sehr gefreut, Sie als Gast, Referent, Leser und PLOTfan begrüßen zu können und freuen uns auf ein weiteres spannendes Jahr mit Ihnen!
All diese Aktivitäten haben uns aber nicht daran gehindert, mit Hochdruck an unserem heiß und innig geliebten Printmagazin zu arbeiten, aber leider kommt es ja bekanntlich meist anders als man denkt. Deswegen haben wir kurz vor Jahresende noch eine weitere Nachricht in eigener Sache: Liebe Abonnenten, liebe Fans, wir bitten nochmals um Ihre Geduld. Die Texte sind geschrieben, die Fotos eingetrieben, die neue Heftstruktur steht! Aber es muss eben noch alles zueinander finden. PLOT#9 wird sich der Inszenierung von Mode widmen, bietet unter anderem einen Einblick in die Szenografie von Fashion-Shows und erläutert, wie der Laufsteg zur Bühne werden konnte. Und auch wenn es mal wieder länger dauert: PLOT wird den Weg schon bald zu Ihnen finden, versprochen! Andernfalls freuen wir uns, Ihnen ein Snickers zu schicken…

It is almost the end of the year and all media please us with their great reviews of the past year. Evidently, we do not want to rank behind and therefore we join them. But we will be brief, even if we organized successfully on behalf of the creative spaces our first congress (Raumwelten 2012), printed our first book (Trade Fair Design Annual 2012/2013), arranged a marvellous event which showed an exhibition worth to be seen (Stadtgeflüster 2012) and at the Scenographer’s Meeting in Stuttgart we let the year fade away with a tiny Plot’s birthday party (we are actually four years old). Besides, in our PLOT-blog we published lots of projects of scenography and spatial communication, we presented exhibitions, fairs and events and we hope we could help with our job offerings those who looked for jobs (and made them happy). In the meanwhile we have on FACEBOOK more than 2,240 friends! Without you we could not have achieved it and therefore: THANKS FOR YOUR FAITH AND CONCERN. 2012 we were happy to greet you as a guest, speaker, reader and PLOT-fan and we are looking forward to another fascinating year with you.
We were not hindered by all those activities to work with high pressure on our dearly beloved print magazine, but unfortunately it is not always as one would think. That’s why we have news on our behalf. Now shortly before the year’s end: Dear subscribers, dear fans, we ask you again, please, have once more a bit of patience. The texts are written, the photographs are advanced, and the new structure of the issue is accomplished (is settled). But everything has to come together. Plot#9 consecrates itself to the staging of fashion, features among other things an inside view into the setting (production) of fashion shows and exemplifies how the catwalk could become stage. Even if it lasts longer again: PLOT will find the way to you soon, promised! Otherwise we will be glad to send you a snicker…
